Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ridgefield, WA

Step into an engaging role supporting students from elementary through high school for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. In this contract opportunity, you’ll work onsite as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a lasting impact on learners with a variety of disabilities, ranging from mild to severe. This position is structured full-time, Monday through Friday, 7 hours each day, allowing you to be a consistent, valuable presence across a diverse student population.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Washington State SLP certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Comfortable working with a broad age range, from elementary to high school
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school teams
• Commitment to supporting learners with varying needs and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and diagnostic services for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and document individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of each student
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with all district and state guidelines
• Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
