Step into an engaging role supporting students from elementary through high school for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. In this contract opportunity, you’ll work onsite as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a lasting impact on learners with a variety of disabilities, ranging from mild to severe. This position is structured full-time, Monday through Friday, 7 hours each day, allowing you to be a consistent, valuable presence across a diverse student population.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comfortable working with a broad age range, from elementary to high school
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school teams
- Commitment to supporting learners with varying needs and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and diagnostic services for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and document individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of each student
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with all district and state guidelines
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
