Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working in a school setting for the full academic year. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
  • Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs and district guidelines
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans and measurable goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on progress and services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff collaboration sessions
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers and other staff regarding communication strategies
  • Adapt and modify therapy techniques to suit diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds
