Desired Background and Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid SLP license in South Carolina, or eligibility for rapid credentialing.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a school setting, serving a diverse student population.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of IEP process, progress tracking, and service delivery models in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans supporting students’ IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to ensure student success.
  • Maintain thorough, timely records and progress reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment.
