School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ridgeway, Virginia

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Familiarity with evaluation, assessment, and therapy techniques for a range of communication disorders
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Prior experience in school settings or working with K-12 students is a plus

What you'll do:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other support staff
• Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings
• Educate and support families and school staff regarding communication disorders
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
