Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado SLP license required
  • ASHA Certification (CCC or CFY) needed
  • Background in pediatric, school, or healthcare-based speech-language services
  • Experience—or a strong interest—in assessment, IEP development, and therapeutic intervention for school-aged children
  • Effective collaboration skills with educators, support staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students
  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Maintain records and documentation aligned with legal and school compliance standards
  • Mentor and support peers and interns, as appropriate
  • Communicate progress and therapeutic strategies to families and educational teams
