Key Qualifications:
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school-based and pediatric settings
- Ability to effectively collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable providing direct and consultative services in diverse school settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, diagnostics, and intervention services for students with a variety of communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school policies
- Work closely with an SLPA, providing supervision and guidance as needed
- Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and records according to district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Provide input for program development and best practices within the school community
