Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License
- Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for fostering development and inclusivity in educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population, in alignment with IEPs and district procedures
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations as part of assessment teams
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and administrators to create and monitor individualized plans
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation and progress reports according to state/district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions
- Remain current with best practices and state requirements within the field
