The assignment is full-time and onsite, providing the chance to connect in person with staff and students from now through late May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License
  • Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Passion for fostering development and inclusivity in educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population, in alignment with IEPs and district procedures
  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations as part of assessment teams
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and administrators to create and monitor individualized plans
  • Maintain timely, thorough documentation and progress reports according to state/district standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to team discussions
  • Remain current with best practices and state requirements within the field
