As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC, you'll work with dedicated educators and staff to develop, implement, and monitor individualized learning plans, ensuring students reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Demonstrated experience working in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Familiarity with evaluation tools and speech-language interventions appropriate for school-aged learners
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to plan and manage a varied caseload effectively
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy, adjusting interventions based on progress and student feedback
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide in-service training and resources to school staff as needed
