Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or strong clinical internship in pediatrics/schools
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to helping students develop their speech, language, and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Provide direct therapy services to students across various grade levels
• Document progress, maintain detailed records, and complete necessary reports as required by the school
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development as needed
• Support generalization of communication skills within classrooms and social environments
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning atmosphere
