This itinerant position means you’ll work across various schools, with caseload assignments tailored to your strengths and preferences. You’ll be joining an in-person therapy team, replacing remote providers—making your daily presence crucial for student support.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current California SLP certification and licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience providing SLP services in K–12 educational settings
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Adaptable to working onsite in a dynamic school environment
- Experience in itinerant or multi-site roles is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K–12 students with diverse speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and maintain documentation per district and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff to support general communication strategies in the classroom
- Travel between assigned schools as needed, ensuring all documentation and reports remain timely and compliant with school and district policies
