Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rio Linda, CA

This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) is designed for professionals experienced with a wide range of age groups and looking for a hands-on impact within a school community. This itinerant position means you’ll work across various schools, with caseload assignments tailored to your strengths and preferences. You’ll be joining an in-person therapy team, replacing remote providers—making your daily presence crucial for student support.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Current California SLP certification and licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Experience providing SLP services in K–12 educational settings
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Adaptable to working onsite in a dynamic school environment
• Experience in itinerant or multi-site roles is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to K–12 students with diverse speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and maintain documentation per district and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff to support general communication strategies in the classroom
• Travel between assigned schools as needed, ensuring all documentation and reports remain timely and compliant with school and district policies
