Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and learning in a vibrant school community as a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract-based role is available for two professionals eager to work closely with elementary and secondary-aged students. With approximately 37.5 hours per week, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, helping students develop essential skills in an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible for New Mexico RLD license and NMPED license (assistance provided if needed)
  • Open to both licensed SLPs and recent graduates pursuing Clinical Fellowship (CF)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience or interest in working in school settings at the elementary and/or secondary level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 40-50 students across elementary and secondary school sites
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including educators, families, and other support staff—to foster students’ growth and inclusion
  • Deliver therapy utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to diverse student needs
  • Participate in meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training
