Take the next step in your career as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students at both elementary and secondary levels in a welcoming and supportive school environment near Rio Rancho, NM. Two contract positions are available, each offering approximately 37.5 hours per week. You'll manage a caseload of 40-50 students, fostering communication growth and helping students achieve their full potential.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligibility to obtain NM RLD license and NMPED license (support provided for obtaining)
- Open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) eager to learn and grow
- Proficiency in developing effective treatment plans and conducting evaluations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and continued professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver direct therapy to students in group and individual settings
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
