Qualifications and Skills Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
  • Confidence working with students from grades K-12 in both individual and small group settings
  • Familiarity with IEPs, evaluation tools, and therapy documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
  • Passion for empowering students of all backgrounds

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, with tailored 1:1 sessions
  • Assess student needs, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Document sessions, manage caseload, and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment
