Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rio Rico, AZ

Make a positive impact on young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in southern Arizona! This contract role provides a fantastic opportunity to support elementary-aged students and collaborate with an engaged educational team.

In this full-time assignment (40 hours per week), you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 60 elementary students, helping each one develop vital communication skills. Whether you are experienced in schools or a Clinical Fellow looking for a supportive environment, your clinical expertise and caring approach will be valued here.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• Active state SLP licensure, including ASHA (CCC) certification
• Clinical Fellowships (CFY) encouraged to apply
• Pediatric and/or school-based experience is a strong advantage
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with students, families, and staff

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-5
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and collaborate on IEPs
• Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational success
• Provide guidance and resources for staff and families
