This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a manageable caseload of 17 students, fostering strong, individualized relationships and making a direct impact on student progress. With a flexible commitment of just 2-3 hours per week, this role is ideal for professionals seeking supplemental opportunities or balancing other commitments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to develop culturally responsive interventions and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students on your assigned caseload
  • Conduct assessments to determine eligibility and areas of need
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress, maintaining thorough documentation and communication regarding growth and areas of concern
  • Participate in team meetings and consult with teachers and families to ensure holistic support
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
