Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with preschool and elementary students. Two full-time positions are available, each offering an engaging environment where you’ll support young learners' communication skills. This role is fully on-site for five days a week, eight hours per day, ensuring you have the chance to make a direct impact on students’ educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure to practice in California
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool and elementary school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Ability to provide direct therapy services and conduct assessments
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized intervention plans for students, adapting strategies to student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations and progress updates
- Deliver therapy sessions one-on-one or in small groups, adapting to a school-based setting
