Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with preschool and elementary students. Two full-time positions are available, each offering an engaging environment where you’ll support young learners' communication skills. This role is fully on-site for five days a week, eight hours per day, ensuring you have the chance to make a direct impact on students’ educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid licensure to practice in California
  • Experience or strong interest in working with preschool and elementary school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
  • Ability to provide direct therapy services and conduct assessments

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized intervention plans for students, adapting strategies to student needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations and progress updates
  • Deliver therapy sessions one-on-one or in small groups, adapting to a school-based setting
