Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Background in pediatric speech therapy and experience within school settings
  • Familiarity with healthcare practices in SLP and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to various caseloads and dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver therapy sessions on-site, working closely with other educators and families
  • Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation for all students on the caseload
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates for student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated support
  • Continuously monitor and adjust interventions for optimal student outcomes
