A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated, bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to make a difference in a school-based setting near Riverside and Fontana, CA. This full-time contract position spans from August 6 through May 27 and offers the chance to work with an engaging caseload of approximately 55 students at either the elementary or middle school level.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure as an SLP or SLPA
  • Bilingual proficiency required
  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of 55 students
  • Previous experience with elementary and/or middle school populations
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • CFs are not eligible for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff for optimal student progress
  • Write session notes, progress reports, and maintain accurate documentation as required by school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decisions
  • Provide support and education to families and school personnel regarding speech and language development
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of bilingual students
