This position offers a split assignment serving both middle and high school populations, with an average caseload of 55 students. You'll have the chance to foster growth among diverse learners with mild to moderate needs, ensuring each student receives targeted language and speech interventions.
Your role will involve collaboration with supportive teams at both sites, and an SLPA will be available on select days to assist—helping make your workload manageable and your impact even greater. You’ll work a consistent 37-hour week onsite (not remote), allowing you to be present for students and engage directly in their academic environments.
What we’re looking for:
- Active SLP license and CCC certification
- Experience in school-based settings, preferably with middle and high school age groups
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 55 students with mild/moderate needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Enjoyment of collaborative work with support staff and other professionals
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech and language therapy tailored to IEP goals
- Complete comprehensive speech/language assessments and write detailed reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with special education teams and families
- Supervise and partner with SLPAs assigned on rotation to streamline service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records in a timely manner
