Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists seeking to work in a dynamic school environment near Riverside, CA. Two full-time openings offer the chance to make a profound impact on students’ communication success throughout the upcoming school year. These positions ideal for clinicians who thrive within school-based pediatric settings and are ready to engage with diverse caseloads.

Schedules run from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, ensuring a consistent workday within an educational atmosphere. The first opening covers a term from mid-August through early November, while the second has a potential extension through early January.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Minimum of one year direct school experience; Clinical Fellowship year candidates will not be considered
  • Familiarity with school-based or teletherapy service delivery preferred
  • Skillful in evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized intervention for pediatric populations
  • Adept in IEP development, collaboration with educators and parents, and maintaining compliance with educational regulations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and caseload management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering guidance and intervention plans
  • Consult with teachers, families, and support staff for holistic care and progress
  • Maintain clear documentation and progress notes in accordance with school standards
  • Provide therapy services both in-person and virtually, as needed
