School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Riverside, California

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing leave coverage. This contract assignment begins January 4th and is slated to continue through the end of March, with the possibility of extension. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by serving a single campus with a manageable and diverse caseload.

As the SLP, you will work with approximately 55 students, including both speech-only and resource populations. The assignment is structured for one site, ensuring the ability to build rapport and continuity with staff and students. Your typical hours will be 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for a consistent 35-hour work week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school-based SLP roles, particularly with elementary-aged children
• Knowledge in developing and implementing IEP goals and collaborating with education staff
• Effective communication skills with students, families, and team members
• Passion for fostering developmental gains and supporting student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to elementary students with diverse speech and language needs
• Maintain all required documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff to support programming
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Adapt interventions to accommodate both speech-only and resource students
