This specialized contract assignment is designed for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who values flexibility and meaningful interactions, with the unique schedule allowing you to deliver all services in a single day for a total of five hours.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school or home-based pediatric setting is highly desired
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to unique learning environments
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for three homebound students
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions in students’ homes, ensuring high-quality services
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and medical professionals to create supportive learning experiences
  • Track progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with program and state requirements
  • Adjust therapy methods and materials to suit each student's needs and home environment
  • Provide resources and strategies to caregivers for continued support outside therapy sessions
