Located near the Roanoke, AL area, you’ll collaborate with a team of educators and professionals dedicated to student growth. The specific caseload details will be shared soon, but flexibility and a commitment to high-quality care are essential.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document communication disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
