Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome)
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and establish relevant IEP goals
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services to students onsite
- Engage regularly with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain precise documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Contribute actively to IEP and student support meetings
