School Speech Language Pathologist - Roanoke, VA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome)
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans and establish relevant IEP goals
• Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services to students onsite
• Engage regularly with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with state and district standards
• Contribute actively to IEP and student support meetings
