A contract opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) professionals who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This role is based onsite, providing support for elementary and middle school students, with services stretching from PreK through 12th grade. Two positions are now open for candidates with the expertise and independence required for all typical SLP responsibilities in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required (please include a screenshot verifying your license status)
  • Successful completion of SLP-CCC credentials
  • Experience supporting students in school environments, ideally across a range of grade levels
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently, including assessment, IEP development, therapy provision, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort working with students with diverse communication needs in both elementary and secondary settings

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and intervention services in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct speech and language assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Serve as a resource for staff, attending meetings as required

Role Details:

  • Contract position covering the 2026-2027 academic year, with the possibility to start during the 2025-2026 ESY period
  • 35 hours per week, onsite service
