Ideal candidates will have:
- Valid SLP licensure and registration (open to Clinical Fellows and those with CCCs)
- Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based speech services
- Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention planning skills
- Familiarity with elementary-aged children, including those in self-contained programs
- Commitment to creating inclusive, positive communication environments
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students
- Delivering direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in line with federal and school requirements
- Participating in IEP meetings and supporting students with diverse needs
- Staying current with best practices and innovative approaches in school speech-language therapy
