Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment near Rochester, MI. This onsite position begins in mid-August 2026 and extends through late June 2027, with a manageable caseload below the state maximum of 60 students. Work closely within an educational team to support student development and communication goals throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams in an onsite environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations to inform individualized student plans
  • Develop, implement, and document evidence-based therapy aligned with each student’s IEP
  • Maintain clear communication and collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists to foster student progress
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and relevant school planning activities
  • Manage assigned caseload efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and district policies
