School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rochester, Michigan

This contracted, full-time opportunity runs from August 25th to June 18th, offering you the chance to impact young learners near Rochester, MI. You’ll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule at 37.5 hours per week, working with a caseload of 50-60 elementary-aged students (with the potential for a slight increase).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent field
• Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Experience in a school setting and working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration skills to work alongside teachers, families, and other school professionals
• Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and small group)
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and ongoing communication with parents and staff
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on intervention strategies
• Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers regarding speech and language development
