Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Eligible for licensure in the state as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Proficient in developing IEPs, conducting assessments, and consulting with educational teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student population
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), documenting student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure holistic support for each child
- Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
