School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Rochester, Michigan

A rewarding opportunity is available for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make a positive impact at the elementary school level. This is a contract position starting in November and running through early June 2027, located in the greater Rochester, MI area. The role is ideal for an SLP with a passion for fostering communication development in young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience providing speech services in K-6 or elementary school settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
