Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rochester, MI

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid SLP license for the state of Michigan (or eligibility)
• Experience delivering speech and language therapy in a school setting, ideally at the elementary level
• Strong collaboration skills—comfortable working with teachers, families, and other support staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students with speech, language, or communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting each student’s unique needs
• Provide direct therapy to students in both pull-out and classroom settings
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
• Consult with classroom teachers and parents/guardians to support overall student success
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students
