School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Rochester, New York

Make a meaningful impact providing speech-language services to middle school students near Rochester, NY! This opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality support in a flexible, part-time contract setting. You will deliver mandated speech-language therapy for approximately 6 hours per week, with the potential to expand to 10-12 hours weekly to accommodate student evaluations, meetings, and related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be available on two consecutive mornings each week from 7:45 to 11:00 am, aligning with the school's schedule and the ongoing needs of their middle school program.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New York State
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience supporting middle school-aged students in an educational setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families
• Commitment to fostering communication growth and student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct speech-language therapy sessions for students with mandated services
• Complete student evaluations and participate in IEP meetings, as needed
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student on your caseload
• Communicate clearly with educators, related service providers, and families regarding therapy plans and student progress
• Flexible coverage for additional hours based on school demand
