School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rochester, New York

We are seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful impact in local schools serving diverse caseloads. These are full-time, Monday through Friday roles, with start dates as soon as possible, continuing until permanent staff are hired.

Role A is based at an elementary school and focuses on serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Role B is situated in a junior/senior high school, working primarily with students with intellectual disabilities. Hours will be determined in coordination with school priorities.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in New York.
• Experience working in school settings highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt approaches based on student needs.
• Commitment to supporting students with ASD (Role A) and intellectual disabilities (Role B).

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student progress.
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and contribute professional insights for student success.
