As a Speech-Language Pathologist in this contract role, you’ll conduct comprehensive assessments of students presenting with a wide spectrum of speech and language disorders. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by designing tailored treatment plans, leading engaging therapy sessions, and closely tracking student progress.
Collaboration is key—you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure each student receives holistic, coordinated care. Family involvement is a priority, and you’ll have a voice in educating and guiding families through the therapy process to maximize student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure as set by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
- Preferably, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop customized treatment plans and deliver impactful therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services and student progress
- Collaborate effectively with educational and clinical staff
- Provide ongoing education and support to families
