Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) near Rock Falls and Dixon, IL. This role is ideal for those ready to provide meaningful services within a varied educational setting, including a specialized day school, high school, and preschool walk-ins. The assignment is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, covering an FMLA leave from February 1, 2027, through May 24, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility); open to both SLPs and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year
  • Experience or genuine interest in serving diverse school-age caseloads
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to participate in team-based solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and evaluations as assigned across multiple school settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with best practices and student needs
  • Participate actively in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and team check-ins
  • Access and utilize provided testing materials and equipment
  • Engage meaningfully with supervision, mentorship opportunities, and the “Buddy Program” for a smooth onboarding experience
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement and best practice initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues via real-time, region-wide digital platforms for problem-solving and support
