Make a meaningful impact this summer working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Extended School Year services. This contract position is an excellent opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in school-based speech therapy, including those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, and those with pediatric SLP experience.
This assignment runs from June 22nd through July 24th, Monday through Friday, with a consistent schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You’ll support a diverse caseload, delivering speech and language services that promote communication development and academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students in school settings
- Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a varied caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records according to ESY guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Participate in team meetings as required to ensure cohesive services
