Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required.
  • Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare-related SLP roles is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills with school teams, students, and families.
  • Comfort with assessment, IEP development, and implementing speech and language interventions.
  • Organizational abilities to manage required documentation and caseload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, addressing articulation, language, social communication, and other areas.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly regarding student outcomes.
  • Participate in school meetings as required and support the educational mission of the assignment site.
