This position is suited for motivated Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in a collaborative, educational setting and want to make a difference with pediatric populations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required.
- Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply.
- Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare-related SLP roles is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills with school teams, students, and families.
- Comfort with assessment, IEP development, and implementing speech and language interventions.
- Organizational abilities to manage required documentation and caseload efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success.
- Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, addressing articulation, language, social communication, and other areas.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly regarding student outcomes.
- Participate in school meetings as required and support the educational mission of the assignment site.
