Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to support student progress toward speech and language goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student progress and goal-setting
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with district and state guidelines
