Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services to support student progress toward speech and language goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student progress and goal-setting
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with district and state guidelines
