A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide direct onsite therapy services to students in a public school setting. This contract role offers full-time hours, allowing a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact by delivering exceptional speech-language support to a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language services to students following individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support student progress
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation, including digital paperwork and communication with stakeholders
  • Utilize available assessment tools, protocols, and resources to evaluate and monitor student needs
  • Participate in professional development and training provided by experienced lead clinicians

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA held for at least 1 year
  • Active professional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum of 1 year of IEP experience in a school or pediatric setting
  • Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for making a positive difference in students’ lives
  • Technologically proficient with the ability to learn new software, troubleshoot basic issues, and manage electronic documentation

  • Rockville, MD – Services delivered onsite in a public school environment
