Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for at least one year
- Active professional license in good standing
- At least 10 hours of availability per week
- Minimum of one year’s experience with IEP development and implementation
- Strong desire to make a positive impact in pediatric school-based settings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to work closely with an interdisciplinary team and school staff
- Self-motivated, organized, and solutions-oriented
- Proficient in digital platforms, able to complete documentation, learn new software, and troubleshoot basic tech issues
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing direct therapy and evaluations to students with speech-language needs
- Developing and implementing IEPs in coordination with educators and families
- Complying with state and district documentation procedures
- Participating in IEP meetings and progress reports
- Collaborating with support staff, teachers, and administrators to ensure students’ success
