Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Rockville, MD

This contract role allows you to directly impact students’ communication skills and overall educational success. As part of a supportive school-based team, you’ll work with a diverse pediatric caseload while collaborating closely with educators and support staff.

Key Qualifications:

• ASHA CCC’s held for a minimum of 1 year
• Active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
• At least 1 year of IEP experience
• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
• Open to both experienced SLPs and SLP-CFY candidates
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit
• Motivated to make a positive difference in students’ lives
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
• Technologically adept; able to handle digital paperwork, learn new software, and troubleshoot basic tech issues

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, onsite speech-language services to students in a public school setting
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team and participate in team meetings
• Employ evidence-based practices tailored to each student’s needs
