Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA certification or eligibility preferred
- Experience in school settings with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Skilled in providing both group and 1:1 therapy sessions
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver therapy to students, including one-on-one and small group interventions across various age groups
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
