Make a real impact supporting students’ communication and language skills in a dynamic school setting. An enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract role working with a caseload of approximately 50 students. This assignment runs from January 4th through May 24th and offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working in educational environments preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation on progress, assessments, and interventions
- Engage and communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
- Provide guidance and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
