This assignment runs from January 4th to May 24th, offering 35 hours per week, with flexible options available for part-time professionals or experienced SLPAs. Your expertise as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) will be valued as you collaborate with educators and families to deliver impactful speech and language services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC credentials
- Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- SLPAs with appropriate certification and experience are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities through assessments and observations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services—individual and group—for a caseload of about 50 students
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school and state requirements
- Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment
