Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rogersville, TN

Make a real impact supporting students’ communication and language skills in a dynamic school setting. An enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract role working with a caseload of approximately 50 students. This assignment runs from January 4th through May 24th and offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Candidates interested in part-time work are also encouraged to apply, and SLPA professionals will be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
• Prior experience working in educational environments preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough documentation on progress, assessments, and interventions
• Engage and communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
• Provide guidance and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
