Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Active SLP license (California preferred)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Clinical experience in a school setting, with pediatrics, or in healthcare environments
  • Comfortable with teletherapy service delivery as well as in-person sessions
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Clear, professional communication skills with students, colleagues, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver tailored services through on-site and teletherapy formats
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation according to school and regulatory guidelines
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies and progress to maximize student success
  • Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required
