A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Rohnert Park, CA, serving a K-12 school setting for the upcoming contract school year (CSY). This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population, supporting their communication development and academic success.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and deliver evidence-based therapy interventions. The position may also incorporate teletherapy methods to expand service delivery options.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in healthcare or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with school-based SLP roles, including working with children in K-12 environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed
- Competence in teletherapy for speech-language services
