Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain swiftly)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and IEP documentation
- Great communicator who thrives when working alongside educators and caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students on-site
- Conduct thorough assessments and design individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, other specialists, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to student plans
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with school policies
