Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including goal setting and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote students’ communication needs within the classroom setting
  • Offer consultation and professional development to school staff regarding speech and language supports
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Engage in school-based meetings and actively participate in multidisciplinary teams
