Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based SLP experience, particularly at the elementary or middle school level, is desirable
- Skills in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing both individual and group therapy
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students, providing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for speech, language, communication, and social skills
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy environment
- Maintain accurate records, participate in IEP meetings, and document student progress in compliance with regulations
- Travel between sites as needed (elementary caseload position only)
