Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience with children or school-aged populations encouraged
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Competence in evaluation, IEP development, and therapy planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s educational journey
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute professional insights, and document progress
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant district, state, and federal guidelines
