Make a meaningful impact by delivering speech-language therapy services to children in a supportive educational setting. In this contract position, you’ll work closely with students, educators, and families to help young learners achieve communication milestones and build confidence.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Current state licensure to practice speech-language pathology in educational environments
  • Experience with pediatric caseloads and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and various intervention strategies for school-aged children
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary professionals
  • Flexibility and adaptability within a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments for students with speech and language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s specific needs and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small group settings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer support and resources to classroom teachers and families, promoting generalization of skills
  • Collaborate on intervention strategies and assist in the development of effective communication supports schoolwide
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
