4th Grade 8th Grade Speech Language Pathologist in Rome, GA

Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across varying grade levels. Positions are available for both compensatory service delivery, as well as school-based assignments focusing on either elementary or middle school students.

Role Highlights:

• Provide speech-language services onsite to students in Pre K through 12th grade
• Choose between traveling to multiple schools for compensatory services, or working from a single campus with a predictable caseload
• Support needed during the summer (June 1 to June 30) for compensatory services
• Maintain a manageable caseload—from 45 to 55 students for school-based roles
• Utilize the Paddynet platform for documentation and service tracking
• Serve elementary (Pre K to 5th/6th) or middle school (6th to 8th) populations depending on assignment

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP licensure and eligibility to practice in a school setting
• Background working with students in 1st through 9th grades a plus
• Skill in effective communication with parents, teachers, school staff, and administrators through various channels (email, phone, school systems, and progress reports)
• Proficiency in scheduling and coordinating services and meetings using Google Calendar
• Experience completing evaluations, eligibility paperwork, IEPs, and data reviews
• Confidence documenting all services in Paddynet and complying with district protocols
• Ability to travel between sites appreciated for compensatory role; school-based roles remain in one location
