This contract role involves working with a diverse caseload, including students with severe needs, functional communication challenges, and those utilizing AAC devices. Services will primarily be provided onsite after school hours, from 2:30-5:00 PM, within a supportive educational environment that values collaboration among professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Valid SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one, in the state of practice
- Previous school-based experience is advantageous
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop, track, and implement IEP goals based on student progress
- Work closely with school staff and families to support students’ educational and social development
