Engage with a diverse caseload spanning PreK through 12th grade, including students with severe needs, functional communication challenges, and those using AAC devices. Residential facility hours ensure focused after-school support from 2:30 to 5:00 pm. Starting as soon as possible, the assignment covers both the school year and summer session, allowing you to maximize your impact in a supportive, collaborative setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Active SLP license in New York, or willingness to obtain
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations
  • Develop, document, and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Coordinate care and services with teachers, staff, and families
  • Support students with severe needs, including those using AAC devices
