Starting as soon as possible, the assignment covers both the school year and summer session, allowing you to maximize your impact in a supportive, collaborative setting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active SLP license in New York, or willingness to obtain
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop, document, and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Coordinate care and services with teachers, staff, and families
- Support students with severe needs, including those using AAC devices
