Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024–2025 school year. This in-person position focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to a diverse pediatric population, including students with Autism. The assignment will be based at a campus near Lancaster, CA, with collaborative support provided by a dedicated team.

Responsibilities will include completing assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering both group and individual therapy sessions to help students reach their communication goals. You'll play a vital role in fostering positive outcomes and supporting students’ academic and social development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
  • Skills in teletherapy helpful, but this contract is in-person only
  • Familiarity or experience working with students diagnosed with Autism is essential
  • Flexibility to adapt to student and campus needs
  • Team mindset with strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech/language evaluations and monitor student progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document services and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in meetings and contribute expertise on student communication needs
