Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Rosamond, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• California SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or recent graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience in schools, pediatric populations, or healthcare settings preferred
• Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students across a variety of diagnoses
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies to maximize outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and professional standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
