Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure or eligibility as an SLP in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school or healthcare pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to design and implement therapy for mild to moderate to severe speech and language disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and parent conferences
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to generalize communication strategies across educational environments
  • Uphold best practices and stay current on federal and state special education requirements
