Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or recent graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in schools, pediatric populations, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students across a variety of diagnoses
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies to maximize outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
