Step into an impactful setting supporting students in a TK-12 district serving approximately 3,650 learners. A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide services onsite across both Rosamond Elementary and Rosamond High Early College locations. Travel professionals are welcomed for this contract position, offering the chance to make a difference at multiple grade levels and across a variety of needs.

Your expertise with SLP-CCC credentials in a school setting will be highly valued as you manage a caseload potentially up to 60 students. Caseloads span from general education to students with moderate to severe needs, ensuring every day brings new opportunities to engage, assess, and help students thrive. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with full-time contracted hours of 37.5 per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Active state licensure as required for school-based SLPs
  • Prior experience in school settings with diverse populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services for TK-5th and 9th-12th grade students across general and specialized programs
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documents
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in language and communication development
